Intended as a more powerful version of the manufacturer’s S63 AMG 4Matic, Mercedes-Benz presents its 2015 AMG S65. Packing a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 under the hood in conjunction with a seven-speed automatic transmission, the seemingly innocuous sedan is capable of 621 horsepower, an insane 738 lb-ft of torque, acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph. As Autoblog points out, there’s no telling how fast the car would be on the track if the limiter were disabled, but the AMG S65′s speedometer goes all the way up to 220 mph. The top-of-the-line S-Class further benefits from AMG-tuned suspension – complete with Magic Body Control and Road Surface Scan – adaptive steering, a lightweight lithium-ion battery, 20″ forged alloy wheels and optional ceramic brakes while the interior comes draped in diamond-quilted nappa leather with a beautiful IWC Schaffhausen clock embedded in the dash. The 2015 Mercedes-Benz AMG S65 will make its public debut at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show before making its way to dealers early next year.
